Biography

Ranjan Singh focuses on engineering quantum and topological materials into scalable chips for quantum information technologies. His group demonstrated the first high-temperature superconducting superinductors for high-impedance quantum circuits and is developing high-Tc superconducting single-photon detectors. His recent discovery of ferrons in layered ferroelectrics opens new possibilities for quantum light generation, including entangled photons. His research also explores electrically controllable quantum geometry and Floquet-engineered Weyl states in topological semimetals, alongside integrated topological photonics for 6G to XG terahertz wireless. Through QuTINT, he seeks to bridge quantum materials discovery with integrated quantum devices, electronic-photonic circuits, interconnects, and scalable quantum information hardware.
