Quantum Research Focus: Quantum Many-Body Theory, Topological Phases, & Unconventional Superconductivity

Biography

Professor Hsu’s research group develops analytical theories and AI-driven computational frameworks to understand and predict quantum materials with potential applications in next-generation quantum computing technologies. By exploring the interplay of symmetry, topology, quantum geometry, and electron correlations, her group uncovers fundamental principles that connect microscopic electronic behavior at the atomic scale to experimentally measurable material properties. These insights guide the discovery and design of novel quantum materials and the development of experimental approaches to identifying their exotic quantum phases.
